Viscoderm Hydrobooster is an injectable Hyaluronic Acid treatment that is designed to improve the skin’s elasticity and radiance. When injected, Viscoderm smooths superficial fine lines and wrinkles on the face. A sister product to Profhilo, Viscoderm is designed by HA-Derma, a company particularly focused on developing products to combat fine lines and wrinkles on the face, at the forehead, and around the eyes and lips. Viscoderm Hydrobooster is therefore an ideal follow-on treatment after Profhilo skinbooster.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Numbing cream is applied prior to treatment. Micro droplets of Viscoderm are then injected into the mid-deep dermis and directly into lines, followed by light massaging of the area.
Avoid on/if you have: keloid scarring, active cold sores, active infection, anti-coagulants, pregnancy & breast-feeding.
The Hyaluronic Acid in the Viscoderm Hydrobooster injections stimulates the production of four different types of collagen and elastin under the skin. This means that rather than ‘filling’ wrinkles, it ‘curls’ them. The skin laxity is improved from within by this process. The result is smoothed skin and improved radiancy and elasticity. The treatment is fast, non-invasive and long-lasting.

IS VISCODERM SAFE?
Yes, Viscoderm is a very safe treatment. The compounds in Viscoderm are natural, very bio-compatible and will break down in the skin after a period of time. If you have an allergy to Hyaluronic Acid products or are breastfeeding or pregnant, you should avoid this type of treatment.
HOW DOES VISCODERM WORK?
The Hyaluronic Acid stimulates the production of four different types of collagen and elastin under the skin. This means that rather than ‘filling’ wrinkles it ‘curls’ them. The skin laxity is improved from within by this process.
Smooths lines and wrinkles and offers improved hydration over an eight-week period following the treatment. Maintenance is required every six months.
Some slight swelling, redness and bruising will occur so avoid just before an important event. Ice packs are used to help minimise bruising and we recommend topical arnica. Bruising can last up to five-seven days.
You may experience a small amount of bruising around the injection sites. This will be minimal and can be covered with mineral makeup (do not wear makeup within 24 hours). Some patients find arnica is beneficial to reduce the bruising. A cold compress can be used to reduce any swelling.
